Therapist Directory

My counseling approach is eclectic and grounded in the belief that every person has infinite self-worth. I consider both the inner strengths and the psycho-social experiences that shape each individual, creating a supportive space to work through life’s challenges with compassion and care.

I specialize in walking alongside individuals navigating the difficulties of the human experience. My focus is on holistic healing and personal empowerment, helping clients cultivate awareness, resilience, and hope. I believe therapy should be a safe and affirming place where healing and change can take root.

In my practice, I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment and Bonding, Circle of Security, Trauma-Focused CBT, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Art Therapy, and feminist-informed perspectives. I work with individuals, couples, and families on concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, parenting, and relationship issues.

I also have extensive experience supporting LGBTQ+ and minority communities, as well as working closely with first responders, who face unique challenges in their professional and personal lives.

I am trained in Circle of Security Attachment Parenting after completing intensive training with Dr. Kent Hoffman, and I facilitate Circle of Security groups.

In addition, I am a trained clinical supervisor, supporting counselors as they grow toward licensure. I am also a student internship supervisor with Northwestern University and Seattle University. I currently supervise Seattle University student intern, Breezie Ray. I also facilitate a consultation group for 8+ counselors.

At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to unconditional positive regard, empathy, and respect for each person’s journey. My goal is to provide a healing environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.

I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 12 years now. Along with being a therapist I am also a published poet, mother, artist, and devoted runner & yogi.

Breezie Ray;
Counseling Intern
2025

Breezie earned their undergraduate degree at Whitworth University, and is currently a Graduate Student at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. Breezie has approached their studies with a deep curiosity and genuine openness for Theological and Psychological intersectionality and believes an eclectic approach is crucial for the therapeutic space.

Breezie has had a wide array of work experiences within the field of psychology, from equine assisted therapies (EAGALA) with Combat Veterans in the PNW, to direct care, case management/assistance at The Hutton Settlement Children’s Home.

They believe in reciprocity, authenticity, and the importance of meeting an individual wherever they are. As such, they uphold the importance of human relationships and connections, particularly in a time where we find ourselves so disconnected and disjointed. Breezie holds a therapeutic interest in artistic expressions, practices of mindfulness, identity development, navigating clinical anxiety, and utilizes a client centered approach which prioritizes individuals’ unique perspectives and goals.

Breezie takes care to actively involve individuals in the therapeutic process and foster a supportive non-judgmental environment safe and fertile for growth.
